What's New

Every release, in plain language. Fitness Trackr stays what it has always been: your photos and your numbers, on your device, and nowhere else.

Apple Health Latest release

Your scale already knows your weight. Now your charts do too - without Fitness Trackr sending a single thing anywhere.

⚖️

Import weight and body fat from Apple Health

Turn on Import from Apple Health in Settings and your weight and body-fat readings appear in your charts automatically, whether they came from a smart scale, an Apple Watch, or entries you made in the Health app yourself.

Connecting for the first time brings in the last 12 months, keeping one reading per day. After that it keeps itself up to date whenever you open the app.

It is free, and it is off until you switch it on.

🔒

Read-only, and it stays on your phone

Fitness Trackr only reads from Apple Health. It never writes anything back, so nothing it does can ever change the health record other apps and your doctor rely on.

Imported values are stored on your device alongside everything else. They are never uploaded, never shared, and never used for advertising.

✍️

Your own numbers are never overwritten

If you typed a weight yourself, an import will never argue with you. Fitness Trackr remembers which values came from you and which came from Health, and only ever fills in the gaps.

Change your mind? Turn the import off at any time, and choose whether to keep or remove the values it brought in. Anything you entered by hand always stays.

📸

Camera moved to the middle

Taking today's photo is the whole point, so the Camera tab now sits in the centre of the bar, under your thumb. The dot still tells you when you haven't taken one yet.

A What's New card

When an update brings something worth knowing about, a card appears once on your Dashboard. Read it, dismiss it, and it's gone. You can always find it again under Settings › Help › What's New.

The Fitness Trackr dashboard with a What's New card beneath the header, a consistency streak card, and body metrics.

On your DashboardThe card shows once per update.

A sheet titled What's New, Apple Health, listing the Apple Health import, its read-only privacy, and the promise that hand-entered numbers stay.

Where your health data goes

Nowhere. Fitness Trackr has no account and no server. Weight and body fat read from Apple Health are stored on your device, in the same place as the numbers you type in yourself.

Your health data is kept secure in the Apple Health app because it is encrypted and protected by the passcode on your iPhone. We never use it for advertising, never share it with third parties, and never use it for data mining. You can revoke access at any time in iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices.
