Privacy Policy

Fitness Trackr ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal progress-tracking app for photos and body metrics. This policy explains what happens to your information. The short version: your photos and data stay on your device. We don't have accounts, we don't run a server, and we never upload your photos.

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not require or collect your name, email, or any account.
• We do not collect or transmit your progress photos, body metrics, goals, milestones, or settings, including any weight or body-fat values imported from Apple Health. These are stored locally on your device and are never sent to us or anyone else.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
• Any photo analysis (for example, detecting your body position to align progress photos) is performed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your photos are never sent anywhere for processing.
• Media exports (timelapse videos, animated before-and-after wipes, compare images) are rendered on your device. No render server is involved and nothing is uploaded to create them.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device only:

• Progress photos (in the app's private storage; optionally also saved to your photo library if you turn that on).
• Body metrics (weight, body fat), goals, milestones, streak and consistency data.
• Your preferences (theme, reminder schedule, units, and so on).
• A single timestamp marking when your 14-day Pro window started, kept in the device keychain so it survives a reinstall. It is one date and nothing else: no identifier, no usage data, and it is never transmitted.

You can delete this at any time inside the app (Settings › Clear All Data) or by uninstalling the app.

Device permissions

• Camera, to take progress photos.
• Photo Library, to import existing photos and, optionally, to save copies of your progress photos.
• Notifications, to send you local reminders. These are scheduled on your device; we do not run a push server and do not see them.
• Health, to import your weight and body-fat readings from Apple Health, only if you turn that on. Access is read-only; the app never writes to Apple Health.

You can change or revoke these in your device Settings at any time.

Apple Health

If you turn on Import from Apple Health (Settings › Health inside the app), Fitness Trackr reads two values from Apple Health so your charts stay up to date:

• your body mass (weight), and
• your body fat percentage.

This access is read-only and opt-in. The app only reads these two values; it never writes anything back to Apple Health. On first connect it imports up to the last 12 months, keeping one value per day. Imported values are used solely to populate the weight and body-fat charts on your device, and they never overwrite a value you entered by hand.

Health data is stored on your device, in the same local storage as your other metrics. It is never transmitted off your device: we never use it for advertising, never share it with third parties, and never use it for data mining or any other use-based analysis.

You can turn this off at any time in Settings › Health inside the app (and choose to keep or delete the values already imported). To revoke the app's access entirely, use iOS Settings › Health › Data Access & Devices › Fitness Trackr.

Purchases ("Pro") and the 14-day included window

Every install includes the full Pro feature set free for 14 days. This is not a subscription: nothing renews, nothing is charged, and there is nothing to cancel. It requires no account and no payment details. The window is tracked entirely on your device by the single timestamp described above.

If you buy the one-time Pro upgrade, the purchase is processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, our in-app purchase provider. To validate the purchase and remember that you're Pro, RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app-user ID (not linked to your name or email), purchase and transaction information from Apple, and basic device and OS information. RevenueCat does not receive your photos, metrics, or other in-app content. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's.

How your data is shared

We don't share your data. The only time information leaves your device is when you choose to share it, for example exporting a backup or sharing a compare image, animated wipe or timelapse via the system share sheet. At that point it goes wherever you send it; that's under your control.

Data retention & deletion

Because your data is stored on your device, you control it. Delete individual items in the app, use Settings › Clear All Data, or uninstall the app to remove everything. Purchase records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat as needed to provide the purchase (for example, so you can restore Pro).

Children

Fitness Trackr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Third-party services

• Apple, which processes your purchase (App Store).
• RevenueCat, which manages and validates your purchase and Pro entitlement.

We don't use any other third-party services that receive your data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll post the new version here with an updated effective date.
